Milestones
NGR has grown into its current organization over a span of more than 20 years. During this time, we have expanded steadily with new technologies, innovative breakthroughs and important acquisitions. It is a success story in which constant growth has established NGR on the global market, but it would not have been possible without our solid foundation.
And that’s how we see NGR in the future: growing steadily but always also deeply rooted as a successful Austrian company in the international plastics recycling market.
Advanced C:GRAN series
The new C:GRAN series set benchmarks in the recycling industry with its advanced cascade option featuring our high performance Power Venting Section and the newly developed AUTO-Pilot control system.
Office Vietnam
NGR opens new office in Vietnam, setting an example for sustainable plastics recycling in Asia.
25 Years of NGR
After months of the pandemic with social distancing and lockdowns, we were able to celebrate our 25th anniversary in autumn 2022 with a big gala. Together with 500 international guests, we proudly looked back on eventful 25 years and celebrated our future.
Facility expansions
With the construction of a 2nd plant opposite the existing building, which was also expanded to include office space and now houses the Customer Care Center, an energy-efficient facility was created with 8000 m2 of production, 2500 m2 of warehouse and 1000 m2 of office space. The PV system consisting of 600 modules on a roof area of approximately 2,000 square meters generates 261,000 kWh of energy annually zbd thereby avoiding around 120,000 kg of CO₂ emissions.
NXT:GRAN
Tried and tested sets new standards: The further development NXT:GRAN was presented to the public for the first time at K 2019 and builds on the extensive experience of more than 1000 patented shredder-feeder-extruder combinations worldwide.
Auf in die Zukunft!
In the current year, NGR can look back on around 70 distribution partners and sales of more than 1,100 recycling machines. At the same time, we are intensively researching new technologies to meet current and future requirements, and to support the transition from linear to circular economy.
Kundencenter China
With its move into the German Center Taicang the Chinese NGR subsidiary is laying new groundwork for China and the entire Southeast Asia region.
NGR Celebrates 20-year Anniversary
More than 250 guests from 20 nations celebrated 20 successful years for NGR on May 20 at the headquarters in Feldkirchen.
P:REACT & COMP model series
The COMP series and particularly the PET recycling machine P: REACT are launched and bring to market outstanding technology.
C:GRAN
It is the year of C:GRAN, the cutting pro for wet material.
Webshop
The NGR Webshop for spare parts goes online und offers our clients a major enhancement in client service.
ISO Certification und USA Expansion
NGR receives ISO certification for QM ISO 9001.
In the same year, the customer care center in the USA becomes NGR Inc. USA, which opens new opportunities in the American market.
Office in Malaysia
The newly opened office in Malaysia offers NGR new opportunities in the Asian market.
Client Center USA & F:GRAN
The NGR Customer Care Center opens in the USA. In the same year, F:GRAN, the highly efficient technology for pre-shredded material, is presented to the public.
Headquarter Feldkirchen/Austria
NGR moves into its current company headquarters in Feldkirchen an der Donau.
HD Pelletizer
The HD Pelletizer is presented.
X:GRAN
The power pack for plastic waste of all sizes and shapes, our X:GRAN, system, is launched.
E:GRAN
A space-saving design, an energy-efficient drive and simple, intuitive operation. These are all features of E:GRAN, the re-processing technology for thermoplastic film edge trims and roll scraps.
